These have always been a comfort food for me. I think of my grandma every time I eat them, hers are the best! This recipe is simple to make and hard to mess up. My husband likes them so much that he'll even slice the potatoes for me!

These can also be made in the slow cooker. Assemble like you would for the oven, but only use a 1/2 cup of milk. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 7-8. It is best to not leave them sitting in the slow cooker for too long once they have finished or the edges will burn. If you have to leave them in the slow cooker try to stir them every hour.
